I use Salesforce to bring my passions together: helping veterans and dogs! I’m always finding news ways to build on Salesforce to help grow and empower veterans.
Army Veteran, lifetime educator, social butterfly, and proud dog mom.
Who I Am
I’m an army veteran, former teacher, and dog mom. By day, I’m a Salesforce Administrator, and every other hour is spent as a board member and volunteer for Justice4Mutts, where we match veterans with rescue dogs. I spend a lot of time with Vetforce, making sure other veterans find career opportunities like I did.
How I Got Here
I spent 12 years in the army and nine years teaching, but didn’t know what to do next. Members of the Salesforce Ohana empowered me and gave me the tools to jumpstart my career with Salesforce. An Austin Girly Geeks meeting, plenty of Salesforce Saturdays, and one Dreamforce later, I am doing what I love.
Where I'll Go
I’ll continue advocating for Vetforce and women in technology while channeling my passion for dog rescue and rehabilitation. I’m working on a new project to help Veterans and their spouses gain hands-on Salesforce experience. I’m excited to bring this vision to life in the coming months since I love what I do!
